ARTICLE I
NAME AND PURPOSE
1.1 This organization shall be "The Faculty of the University of Texas at El Paso."
1.2 The purpose of this organization is the general charge of The University of Texas at El Paso, as provided for in the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Regents, Part One, Chapter IV, Section 2.1, and subject to the authority that the Board has vested in the President and the various administrative officers and subdivisions of The University of Texas System.
