Its average winter high temperature is 55-60 degrees. Annual rainfall is only 8.65 inches. El Paso being a desert has a hot climate with hot days and pleasant nights. April to August is the hottest months of the year, with some rainfall in the months of August, September and October. The heat is dry with very little humidity. The nights and early mornings tend to get pleasant and the temperatures drop down. In winter its a bit cold.

You are recommended not to bring heavy sarees or salwaar-kameez because you won't get any occasion to wear them. Some of the events like the Diwali or the Garba do call for wearing such stuff so if you wish you might get one. Having one set of formal wear is advisable, for interviews.
